Six startups to pitch at Water Summit in Milwaukee

Milwaukee_River2_webA French company that uses sunlight to recycle wastewater and an Alabama company with a device that can remotely shut off water usage are among six start-ups that will pitch their stories in June at the ninth annual Water Summit in downtown Milwaukee.

The start-ups will present at a new event at the summit, the H2O Innovation Showcase. The event features “the best of the best” water tech start-ups and provides a platform for them to pitch to an expected audience of about 400 people and meet with leaders and potential customers, organizers said.

HelioPur Technologies, Purtuis, France, has a technology that uses sunlight and CO2 to recycle wastewater. Ark Labs of Florence, Ala., is developing a device that monitors water usage and uses artificial intelligence to remotely shut off water if there is a deviation from the norm.
