gener8tor, again, ranked as a top business accelerator in the US

Honors for the gener8tor accelerator, which could expand to three more Midwest cities

gener8torFor the third year in a row, gener8tor is ranked one of the top 16 business accelerator programs in the U.S.

And, as its prestige grows, so does the program — which started in Madison and Milwaukee in 2012 — plan to grow.

Over the past year, gener8tor opened its gBETA free, six-week program for early-stage companies in Minneapolis, followed by a full-fledged, 12-week mentorship program there. More recently, gBETA was held in Beloit and an even earlier-stage gALPHA program began in Beloit this summer as a hackathon/accelerator aimed at helping would-be entrepreneurs sift through ideas and form teams.

 Gener8tor also is collaborating with other organizations to present conferences relating to specific industries, such as insurance and manufacturing. Read more …
