Marquette launches new innovation space, 707 Hub

MUI_webA new space devoted to stimulating and furthering student innovation and entrepreneurship is now up and running on Marquette University’s campus.

The 707 Hub, which provides the necessary tools and resources for students so they can foster their business ideas and creative pursuits, opened Monday. The collaborative innovation space is located on the first floor of the 707 Building at 1102 W. Wisconsin Ave. and features a host of amenities for students interested in converting the ideas brewing in their heads, to reality.

Part of Marquette University’s Office of Research and Innovation, the 707 Hub — which is open to all Marquette students, as well as faculty and staff — features collaborative workspaces, conference rooms and meeting areas. The space is home to both the Kohler Center for Entrepreneurship, which launched in 2000, and the school’s Social Innovation Initiative. Read more …
